CNC Turner – Fanuc Programmer/Setter/Operator (Back Shift)

Location: Kingswinford
Pay: £19.00 – £23.00 per hour (including shift allowance)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 14:30 – 01:00
Contract: Permanent, Full‑Time

The Company

A well‑established precision engineering manufacturer is looking to add an experienced CNC Turner to their back‑shift machining team. With ongoing investment in modern CNC technology and a strong order book, this is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing business producing high‑accuracy components for a range of industries.

The Role

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls to produce precision‑engineered components to tight tolerances.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programming at the machine using Fanuc controls
  • Setting and operating CNC lathes
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Selecting tooling, setting offsets, and carrying out adjustments
  • Producing high‑quality components to tight tolerances
  • Carrying out in‑process inspection using measuring equipment
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner
  • Strong Fanuc programming and setting skills
  • Ability to work from technical drawings
  • Confident using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other inspection tools
  • A proactive, reliable approach to work
  • Experience working to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment
