CNC Programmer

The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Coatbridge. This is a day shift role focused on offline programming for 3-axis milling machines, specifically Dah Lih machinery.

You will be responsible for creating and optimising CNC programs using SolidWorks CAD/CAM, working closely with the shop floor to ensure efficient and accurate production.

Key Responsibilities

• Offline programming using SolidWorks CAD/CAM
• Creating programs for 3-axis milling machines (Dah Lih)
• Interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models
• Optimising tool paths and cycle times
• Supporting machinists with technical queries and program adjustments
• Ensuring high standards of quality and precision

Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC programming (offline)
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks CAD/CAM
• Experience with 3-axis milling machines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Knowledge of Dah Lih machines (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
