CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

MET Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join an established company in the Kingswinford area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery using Fanuc controls to produce high-quality precision components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.

This position is a straight permanent position with the client.

Duties

• Program, set, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines with Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CAD data.
• Create and modify CNC programs to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using measuring equipment
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Ensure machines are operated safely and maintained in good working condition.
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet delivery targets.

Working Hours and Pay

There are two positions available, each on different shifts.

6:00am – 2:30pm Monday – Friday (£19.00 per hour)

Or

2:30pm – 1:30am Monday – Thursday (£19.00 per hour plus £1 shift allowance)

Please be aware that the shift that you choose will be fixed, it won't be rotating shifts.
