The Role:
- Setting and operating CNC lathes
- Installing workpieces, fixtures and cutting tools
- Production of high-quality detail parts
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Adherence to health and safety protocols
- Adherence to specifications and quality standards
About you:
- Experienced CNC lathe Setter
- Experience with Fanuc Controls
- Experience with twin spindle, multi-axis Lathes (desirable)
- Experience with offline programming (desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Ability to resolve common CNC machine issues (tooling problems etc)
- Experience using measuring equipment
The Benefits:
- £38,480 rising to £40,885 once programming skills have been acquired
- Overtime at time and a half
- Monday to Friday, 37-hour working week
