⚙️ CNC Setter/ Operator - Rotherham
💷 £17.61 - £18.64 per hour (DOE) 🕒 Rotating Shifts (Days/Afters/Nights or Mon-Thurs Days & Nights)
Stafforce are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator/Setter to join a growing, well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Rotherham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate Vertical Machining Centres
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Adjust work/tool offsets and carry out tooling changes
- Prove out programmes and set up new jobs
- Work with jigs and fixtures to machine parts to specification
- Complete route cards, documentation, and ensure correct labelling
- Maintain tool inventory and programme registers
- Monitor coolant levels and maintain machine cleanliness
- Ensure parts move through production correctly and efficiently
Requirements:
- Experience in CNC machining, setting and operating (essential)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Knowledge of tooling, offsets and machining processes
- Good teamwork and communication skills
