CNC Turner – Contract (Inside IR35)

Location: Sheffield

Shifts: Various shifts available

Contract Length: 3 months

Pay: £30.00 – £33.00 per hour (shift‑dependent)

Actio Recruitment are supporting a precision engineering business in the Sheffield area who require an experienced CNC Turner on a contract basis (inside IR35).

The Role

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls, producing high‑quality components to tight tolerances. Duties include:

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines

• Editing offsets and making adjustments at the machine

• Working from technical drawings

• Carrying out in‑process inspection

• Maintaining production output across your allocated shift

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong CNC turning experience

• Confident use of Fanuc controls

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• A reliable, professional approach suited to a busy machine shop

Contract Details

• Inside IR35

• 3‑month contract with potential for extension

• £30–£33 p/h, depending on shift

• Multiple shift patterns available
