Position: CNC Turner - Setter / Operator
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Salary: £35 - 40k DOE

CNC Turner Setter / Operator required for a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Stockton-on-Tees. Our client operates across a range of industries including telecommunications, construction, and rail, providing specialist equipment and innovative engineering solutions.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter / Operator to join their production team.

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture precision-engineered components
• Interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and production documentation
• Adjusting machine settings and tooling to achieve optimum machining performance
• Using measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances and specifications
• Carrying out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Working closely with colleagues to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency
• Accurately recording production data and manufacturing activities
• Ensuring compliance with company health and safety procedures at all times

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter / Operator within a precision engineering environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools
• Experience with grinding, milling, and tooling operations would be advantageous
• Familiarity with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, would be beneficial
• Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous

• £35 - 40k base salary DOE
• Performance-related bonus structure
• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
