CNC Turner Programmer

Location: Slough 
Salary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join their skilled manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable CNC Turner with strong programming experience and a background in precision engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines.
  • Producing high-quality precision components to engineering drawings.
  • Editing and optimising programmes using Fanuc controls.
  • Conducting first-off inspections and maintaining quality standards.
  • Working efficiently to meet production schedules.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
  • Ability to programme Fanuc controls using G and M codes.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • Experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Pay

  • £18.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
