Pay Rate: DOE hourly rate and enchanced for weekend work up to £40 per hour 

Job Type: Temporary Contract

Anglian Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Coded Welder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company for a project based in the Preston area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder seeking a temporary assignment with immediate start availability, consistent working hours, and the opportunity to maximise earnings through weekend overtime.

The Role

  • Carrying out high-quality coded welding to engineering specifications
  • Working with a variety of materials including carbon steel and stainless steel
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding procedures
  • Ensuring all welds meet quality and safety standards
  • Completing fabrication and welding duties as required
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements

  • Valid welding codes/certifications (MIG, TIG, MMA/Stick or Flux Core)
  • Previous experience in a coded welding role
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
  • CSCS card beneficial but not essential

This temporary opportunity offers 10 hours paid per day, Monday to Friday, with 12 hours paid per day available at weekends at enhanced rates, providing excellent earning potential.
