Are you an experienced Coffee Machine Engineer looking to join a business that genuinely values its engineers and provides the support needed to do the job properly?

We are working with a well established coffee equipment specialist that has built an outstanding reputation over more than 30 years. The company provides commercial coffee machines and grinders to cafés, restaurants, pubs, hospitality venues and offices across London and the South East, with customer service at the heart of everything they do.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Coffee Machine Engineer to join their engineering team.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial coffee machines and grinders across a varied customer base throughout London and the South East.

This is a customer facing role where technical expertise, professionalism and excellent communication skills are equally important. You will be trusted to represent the business on site, delivering the high standards of service that have helped the company grow largely through customer recommendations and word of mouth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation and commissioning of commercial coffee machines and grinders
• Planned preventative maintenance visits
• Diagnosing and repairing equipment faults
• Responding to breakdown calls and customer issues
• Testing and preparing equipment within the workshop when required
• Providing customers with operational advice and support
• Completing service documentation and reports
• Maintaining excellent customer relationships

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience servicing and repairing commercial coffee machines
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive, team focused attitude

Experience working on brands such as La Marzocco, Victoria Arduino, Wega, Rocket Espresso, Mazzer, Mahlkönig or similar commercial coffee equipment would be highly advantageous.
