Commercial Director

Location: Ireland
Salary: €150,000 + Bonus + Package

We are working with a major, well-established infrastructure contractor delivering projects across Ireland and the UK.

Due to sustained growth and a strong forward pipeline, they are seeking to appoint four senior commercial leaders to take ownership of key business units across multiple infrastructure sectors.

Each unit is projected to deliver c.€150m annual turnover within the next 12–18 months , offering significant scope for leadership, influence, and long-term progression.

This is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for the commercial performance of a defined business area.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing a commercial team across multiple projects
• Owning commercial strategy, risk management, and margin performance
• Overseeing contractual and procurement activities
• Supporting tendering and work-winning activity
• Driving cost control, reporting, and governance
• Partnering with operational leadership to ensure successful project delivery

Projects are within major infrastructure and utilities environments , including areas such as:

• Civil engineering and infrastructure
• Utilities and network delivery
• Energy and engineering-led projects

You will be an experienced commercial professional with a background in large-scale infrastructure or utilities.

You are likely to:

• Hold a senior position (Commercial Director / Head of Commercial / Senior Commercial Manager)
• Have experience overseeing high-value projects or frameworks
• Demonstrate leadership of commercial teams
• Have strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. NEC or equivalent)
• Be commercially focused with a track record of delivering performance
