A commercially focused organisation in the West Midlands is seeking a Commercial Business Partner to work closely with senior stakeholders across sales, operations and supply chain. This is a high‑impact role, focused on driving performance, improving margins and supporting strategic decision‑making within a complex, fast‑moving environment.
The Role
- Act as a trusted finance partner to commercial and operational leaders, providing insight, challenge and decision support across revenue, margin and working capital.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting, aligned to demand planning, seasonality and supplier dynamics.
- Deliver clear, actionable management reporting covering sales, margin, rebates, stock and cash.
- Drive pricing and discount governance, identifying and reducing margin leakage.
- Partner with supply chain and logistics teams to optimise inventory, stock turn and cost‑to‑serve.
- Build scenario models and support business cases for growth initiatives and operational change.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering within a medium to large organisation.
- Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to influence senior non‑finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable analysing complex data sets and translating insight into clear recommendations.
- Experience working with inventory, pricing, rebates or cost‑to‑serve models highly advantageous.
