Salary: £38,000 + Diesel Van
Hours: Monday–Friday | 7:30am – 4:30pm (40 hours) + overtime
Location: RAF Brize Norton – covering the base and surrounding facilities

Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions is hiring for a a skilled and proactive Commercial Maintenance Plumber to deliver planned and reactive maintenance, as well as support minor installation and refurbishment works across RAF Brize Norton.

This is a varied role, ideal for someone with strong plumbing experience who is also comfortable carrying out general maintenance and multi-skilled works within a large operational environment. You will work across a diverse range of facilities including accommodation blocks, kitchens, bathrooms, workshops, office spaces, and storage buildings, ensuring all systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing works across site.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on commercial hot and cold-water systems, sanitaryware, pipework, and associated plant.
  • Support minor refurbishment and retrofit projects including bathrooms, kitchens, and welfare areas.
  • Undertake general building maintenance and multi-skilled tasks including basic fabric, mechanical, and repair works.
  • Source and purchase materials as required for maintenance and project works.
  • Ensure all job sheets, compliance records, and CAFM updates are completed accurately and on time.
  • Work independently and as part of a wider multi-skilled FM team to deliver high-quality service across the base.

About You

  • Proven experience in commercial plumbing, maintenance, or FM environments.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Multi-skilled background with the ability to support basic fabric or mechanical maintenance works.
  • Experience working on large commercial or operational sites is highly desirable.
  • Able to manage reactive workloads and prioritise maintenance activities effectively.
  • Good understanding of health & safety and compliance procedures.
  • Full UK Driver’s Licence (maximum 6 points, no drink-driving offences).
