As a Commercial Property Assistant, you will support property management, lease advisory and asset management activities across a diverse portfolio of retail, office and industrial properties. Working alongside experienced property professionals, you will gain valuable exposure to all aspects of commercial property management, with APC support and clear progression opportunities available for the right person.
The Opportunity
As a Commercial Property Assistant, you'll play a key role in:
• Supporting the day-to-day management of a varied commercial property portfolio.
• Responding to tenant and client enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Assisting with lease renewals, rent reviews and the preparation of recommendations and reports.
• Supporting service charge budgeting, reconciliations and expenditure monitoring.
• Carrying out site inspections and helping to ensure compliance with lease obligations and statutory requirements.
• Coordinating maintenance activities and liaising with tenants, contractors and clients regarding property works.
Your work will directly contribute to the effective management, performance and ongoing success of a diverse commercial property portfolio while helping to deliver an excellent experience for clients and tenants.
About You
We're looking for someone who can bring:
• Experience within commercial property management or a related property environment, or be degree qualified and working towards APC/RICS qualification.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence when working with clients, tenants and colleagues.
• A proactive approach with a genuine willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high standards of service.
• Flexibility and adaptability when responding to changing priorities.
Desirable:
• Understanding of landlord and tenant relationships.
• Previous experience supporting commercial property portfolios.
