Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Community Associate to support the day-to-day operation of a vibrant, dual‑purpose workplace environment.

Job Overview

This is a highly visible, front‑line role focused on delivering an exceptional workplace and community experience. The Community Associate will play a key part in ensuring the space is welcoming, inclusive and efficiently run, supporting a diverse mix of co‑working clients, internal colleagues and visitors.

Working as part of a small on‑site team, the role combines front‑of‑house services, workplace support, event delivery and community engagement. The successful candidate will be proactive, service‑driven and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment, with a strong focus on quality, consistency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming, inclusive and collaborative environment for members, colleagues and visitors.
  • Oversee front‑of‑house operations, including reception, visitor management and arrival experiences.
  • Act as the primary on‑site point of contact, responding to day‑to‑day queries in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Support the delivery of events for up to 100 attendees, including room setup, basic technology troubleshooting and on‑the‑day assistance.
  • Manage day‑to‑day building operations, including vendor coordination, stock control and space utilisation.
  • Carry out regular checks of the workspace to ensure high standards of cleanliness, functionality and overall experience.
  • Identify and resolve quality or operational issues, escalating where necessary to maintain service standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, security and governance requirements at all times.

Person Specification

  • Background in hospitality, particularly within a hotel environment, with a strong customer‑service mindset.
  • Confident in managing visitor access, sign‑in processes and maintaining a professional front‑of‑house presence.
  • Experience supporting a dynamic workplace environment beyond traditional reception duties.
  • Practical and hands‑on, with the ability to assist with basic technology issues, event setups and space adjustments.
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to engage confidently with both co‑working clients and internal colleagues.
  • Passionate about people, community building and delivering a high‑quality workplace experience.
  • Highly reliable, with a desire for long‑term stability within a small, close‑knit on‑site team.
