We’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Community Impact and Sustainability Lead to join Churchill Group, supporting a flagship site in partnership with our corporate real estate client.
This is a unique, high-visibility role at the heart of a landmark building designed to be more than just a workplace – bringing together community engagement, sustainability, and social value in a truly meaningful way
As a visible presence on site, you’ll take the lead in delivering our community impact plan, working closely with occupiers and community partners to create lasting positive outcomes. From employability initiatives to sustainability engagement, you’ll play a key role in connecting people, place, and purpose.
As Community Impact and Sustainability Lead you’ll be:
- Leading delivery of the community impact plan while building strong relationships with local partners, schools and stakeholders
- Coordinating employability initiatives including work experience, job fairs, skills sessions and pathways into employment
- Driving volunteering activity across Churchill teams, clients, occupiers and partners
- Supporting sustainability initiatives across cleaning operations, including waste reduction, energy use and resource efficiency
- Promoting responsible and sustainable behaviours across site teams and occupiers
- Leading tenant and stakeholder engagement campaigns linked to social value and sustainability
- Tracking, reporting and evidencing social value outcomes, producing clear updates and insights for stakeholders
- Acting as the key point of contact for community impact and sustainability activity on site
As Community Impact and Sustainability Lead you’ll have:
- Experience in community engagement, social value, sustainability or a related field (e.g. FM, education, employability)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with clients, local authorities or community partners
- The ability to turn commitments into practical plans, actions and measurable outcomes
- Excellent organisation skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage both senior stakeholders and frontline teams
- A strong understanding of compliance, safeguarding, data protection and health & safety in community-facing environments
