We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Havering.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and support student progress
- Encourage students to develop confidence in programming, digital literacy, and problem-solving
- Work collaboratively with staff and contribute positively to the wider school community
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Science within UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for education and student achievement
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
