Location: Woking, Surrey (GU22)
Contract: Permanent, full-time (after successful 6‑month probation)

OPR Resourcing Specialists are working exclusively with a well-established, research-led conference and events organisation based in Woking, who are looking to recruit a Delegate Bookings Administrator to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate, or someone keen to move into the events and conferences industry. Full training will be provided.

The Role

As Delegate Bookings Administrator, you will play a key role in the smooth delivery of both virtual and in‑person events, acting as a first point of contact for delegates and supporting the wider events team with day-to-day administration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for delegate and client enquiries
  • Processing delegate bookings accurately for virtual and in-person events using event management systems (full training provided)
  • Administering payments, including raising invoices and chasing payments
  • Producing confirmation letters and joining instructions
  • Creating and maintaining delegate lists and producing delegate badges for live events
  • Updating and managing client and delegate data before and after events
  • Attending virtual and in-person events to support setup, registration and delegate queries
  • Supporting general office administration, including data entry, filing and ordering office supplies
  • Carrying out any other reasonable administrative duties to support operations and marketing activity

About You

This role would suit someone organised, personable and keen to build a career within events.

Ideal requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or office-based administrative role
  • Any experience with bookings, registration systems or events administration is advantageous but not essential
  • A professional, friendly and confident telephone manner
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task in a busy environment
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ideally lives locally and holds a driving licence
