Containment Engineers – Data Centre Projects (Contract)
Location: Newport / South Wales (with potential UK travel)
Start: Immediate / Ongoing Projects
We are currently seeking experienced Containment Engineers to support a range of high-profile data centre projects across Newport and the wider South Wales region.
This is an excellent opportunity to join fast-paced, technically demanding environments working on critical infrastructure within live and new-build data centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of electrical and data cable containment systems
- Working with Unistrut, bracketry, and containment frameworks
- Interpreting technical drawings and layout plans
- Working safely within a construction environment
- Coordination with site supervisors and project teams
- Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience in containment installation within data centres or similar environments
- Ability to work from drawings with minimal supervision
- Valid CSCS/ECS card (or equivalent)
- IPAF
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures
- Flexibility to work shifts / weekends if required
