The Opportunity
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are delighted to be working with a pioneering and forward-thinking specialist business to recruit a highly capable and creative Content Marketing Manager to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

As Content Marketing Manager, you will lead the planning and delivery of high-quality marketing content and digital activity. Playing a key role in creating, reviewing and refining content across the organisation’s website and LinkedIn, helping to strengthen digital presence and ensure messaging is clear, consistent and engaging.

This is a varied and hands-on role that will see you supporting content strategy and delivery, improving digital engagement, contributing to events and helping to bring fresh ideas to the marketing function. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to capture stories, shape messaging and ensure content is aligned with wider business priorities.

The successful Content Marketing Manager will be confident working independently, comfortable managing multiple priorities and happy to get involved in whatever is needed to keep things moving. This opportunity would be ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to make a real impact from day one.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a content, marketing or communications role, ideally with responsibility for website and LinkedIn content.
  • Strong copywriting, editing and storytelling skills, with the confidence to create and refine engaging content.
  • Experience working in a B2B environment, ideally with some exposure to technical, public sector or similarly specialist subject matter.
  • Comfortable working independently, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and use your own initiative.
  • Confident using digital platforms and marketing tools, with an interest in performance, data and continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • A genuine interest in innovation, with a willingness to explore how AI and new systems can support better marketing delivery.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work at pace.
