Contract Civil 3D Technician (Remote)

I'm currently working with a well-established, internationally recognised engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Contract Civil 3D Technician on an interim basis while they recruit for a permanent team member.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded engineering business with a strong pipeline of developer-led projects across the UK, alongside exposure to a range of international developments.
The Role
You will be supporting a busy civils team, producing detailed designs and technical drawings using Civil 3D across a variety of infrastructure and development schemes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Civil 3D modelling and drafting
- Drainage design and detailing
- Highways and external works design
- Production of technical drawings and design packages
- Working closely with engineers and project teams across multiple projects
- Supporting UK developer-led schemes and selected international projects
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Civil Engineering Technician
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Experience delivering drainage and highways designs
- Background working on developer-led residential, commercial or mixed-use projects
- Ability to work independently within a remote environment
- Previous consultancy experience preferred
Contract Details
- £35-£40 per hour
- Outside IR35
- Fully remote working from within the UK
- Immediate start available
- Initial contract assignment with potential for extension
