About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to oversee multiple civil engineering projects across Fife and the surrounding areas. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate multiple civil engineering contracts from inception to completion
  • Oversee project teams, including Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
  • Identify and manage risks, resolving issues proactively
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within civil engineering or infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • SMSTS and CSCS certification preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
