Control Panel Wirer - Witham - salary £22,000 - £26,000

Are you able to build an electrical control panel working from technical drawings and a collection of components? If so, a busy industrial electrical manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Control Panel Builder / Wirer to build complex control panels. The company supply a variety of fully equipped controls, relays, enclosures, replacement panel fronts, marshalling kiosks and equipment racks to the electricity supply & other various industries in the UK and overseas. If you are looking to start a career in this field or have wiring experience then we want to hear from you.

Duties

• Working from engineering drawings
• Mechanical fitting & wiring of varying panel sizes from 600cm to 3 meters
• Wiring looms/cable harness and relays
• Testing of panels

Experience

• Good wiring skills are preferable however some training can be given
• Control panel or cable assembly experience an advantage
• Experience of testing would be preferable
• Must be able to lift heavy weights
• Industrial background would be advantageous

Benefits

• Hours of work: 07.30 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday with 1/2 hour lunch and 07.30 - 12.30 Friday.
• 20 days holiday rising to 25 days with service + bank holidays
