The Role

Working alongside experienced solicitors, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to successful completion. You’ll be trusted to deliver a seamless, professional service while building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support solicitors across a broad range of residential and commercial property transactions

  • Prepare, review, and manage legal documentation including contracts, leases, dispositions, and transfer deeds

  • Conduct property searches and assist with detailed due diligence processes

  • Manage and maintain case files efficiently, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail at every stage

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties, delivering an outstanding client experience

  • Provide proactive support to the wider legal team, helping ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently

  • Assist with completions, registrations, and post-settlement matters within agreed deadlines

About You

  • A Scots Law degree with previous experience in a conveyancing or paralegal role

  • Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial property transactions

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills

  • A confident and professional communicator, both written and verbal

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience using legal case management systems would be highly advantageous

  • A proactive and client-focused approach with a genuine passion for property law
