Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week

Our recruitment agency is currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Cook to work in a residential care home in Leighton Buzzard.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and caring individual who enjoys preparing nutritious, traditional home-cooked meals for residents.

Duties Include:

• Preparing and cooking traditional English meals and desserts.
• Catering for residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Managing food storage and stock rotation.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cook, Chef, or Kitchen Cook.
• Experience preparing traditional English cuisine.
• Valid DBS certificate.
• Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate.
• Good understanding of food hygiene practices.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
