Counterbalance Driver

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual with proven experience in warehouse operations, forklift driving, and material handling.

Shifts are Monday to Friday 10am-7pm

As a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Operating forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading goods, including groupage consignments
• Working on standard and double deck trailers
• Scanning pallets in and out of warehouse locations
• Labelling pallets accurately for dispatch
• Supporting shipping and receiving processes, including checking manifests
• Using warehouse systems (WMS) to update stock and print labels
• Carrying out daily forklift safety checks and reporting any issues
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid forklift licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Experience loading groupage trailers (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
• Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Basic IT skills for scanning and system updates
• A reliable, punctual, and team-oriented approach
