Counterbalance Driver

We’re currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Operative with an exciting opportunity during an upcoming warehouse transition.

From mid-May, operations will be relocating to a new warehouse at Junction 15. In the meantime, we’re looking for operatives on a temp-to-perm basis who can initially work at the Tilbrook (Milton Keynes) site while stock is transferred to the new location. This provides a great opportunity to gain valuable product knowledge and operational experience ahead of the opening.

Pay Rates:

• £13.42 per hour once based at the new warehouse
• £15.29 per hour while working at the Tilbrook site (enhanced rate to support travel costs)

Shift:

• Late Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock to and from storage locations within the warehouse
• Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders where required
• Conducting basic equipment checks and reporting any faults
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid, in-date accredited FLT Counterbalance licence
• Previous FLT Counterbalance experience preferred
• Flexibility to work across both sites during the transition period
• Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
