Salary: £95 - £100 per day

Are you looking for a full-time Cover Supervisor role in a supportive mainstream secondary school?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream mixed secondary school based in Haringey, who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor from September 2026. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED and promotes a positive culture where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a full-time basis, covering lessons across all subjects when teaching staff are absent. The successful Cover Supervisor will be expected to deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure pupils remain engaged in their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

Experience working with children or young people in a secondary school setting

Strong behaviour management skills

Confidence covering a range of subjects across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

The ability to follow lesson plans and keep pupils focused

A positive, adaptable and proactive approach

Excellent communication skills
