We’re recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors for secondary schools from September across our partner academy trusts.
This is a great opportunity for Teaching Assistants, graduates, coaches, youth workers, or anyone with experience leading groups of young people who is looking to gain more classroom experience or progress into teacher training (PGCE/SCITT).
What is required of a cover supervisor? You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-set work, managing behaviour, and keeping students on task in the absence of the class teacher — no planning or marking required.
What you’ll need:- Confidence leading a classroom or group setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A calm, consistent approach
- Experience working with young people (school experience ideal but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
