Location: Walsall/ Wolverhampton
Start Date: ASAP/ September 2026
Pay rate: £95-£120 (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Walsall and Wolverhampton, starting ASAP or September 2026.
This is a great opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced education professionals who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience and build relationships within local schools.
Role and responsibilities
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Ensure students remain on task with pre-set work
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support students with their learning where appropriate
- Follow school policies and procedures at all times
- Provide feedback to teaching staff where required
Requirements
- Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students across a range of subjects
- Flexible reliable and proactive attitude
- Experience working with young people such as in schools coaching youth work or tutoring is desirable but not essential
- A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
