Cover Supervisor

Experienced Cover Supervisor – School Setting

We are currently seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to work across secondary school settings, supporting pupils by delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff.

This is a flexible opportunity, suitable for candidates looking for day-to-day supply, as well as those open to short-term or long-term placements.

The Role:

• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects
• Maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment
• Managing pupil behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Ensuring students remain on task and engaged in learning
• Providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role
• Strong behaviour management and classroom control skills
• Confidence leading a class independently
• A calm, professional and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred)
• EWC registration (preferred)
• Candidates without a DBS on the Update Service and/or EWC registration must be willing to obtain these through us
