Are you confident working with young people and looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive secondary school?

Are you interested in a role that could be a stepping stone into teaching or education?

We are working with the Mersey View Trust and are looking for Cover Supervisors to join our bank, for opportunities in September. These could be day to day, short term or even longer term roles within their Secondary schools.  What Could Your Day Look Like?

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Supporting students with their learning during lessons

  • Creating a positive and focused learning environment

  • Working closely with teaching staff and the wider school team

  Could This Be You?

  • Experience working with young people or in a school setting is desirable

  • Confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Flexible, reliable and professional

  • Interest in education or a future teaching career
