Cover Supply Teacher

Prospero Teaching are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supply Teacher to support a friendly and well‑organised secondary school in Grays. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety, thrives in fast‑paced environments, and can deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects.

The school is looking for a professional with strong behaviour management, a calm presence, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.

• Location - Grays

• Position - Cover Supply Teacher (Secondary)

• Type of work - General classroom cover across KS3/KS4

• Start date - ASAP

• Duration - Ongoing / Long‑term

• Full time/part‑time - Full time

• Minimum rate of pay - From £125 per day

• Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30/4:00 pm

• QTS or relevant teaching experience

• Recent experience in a UK secondary school (supply experience welcomed)

• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (desirable)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child‑barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child‑related references
