Credit Control / Purchase Ledger Administrator

Salary: £13.25 per hour
Inplace Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading fabric wholesaler in Sutton-in-Ashfield for a Credit Control / Purchase Ledger Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in credit control, purchase ledger, invoicing and customer account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing customer accounts and credit control procedures.
- Processing sales invoices, supplier invoices and purchase ledger transactions.
- Chasing outstanding payments and resolving account queries.
- Processing payments, credit notes and account reconciliations.
- Assessing credit risk and maintaining customer credit limits.
- Processing card payments in line with GDPR and PCI compliance.
- Supporting daily banking activities, cash allocation and supplier account management.

Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth financial administration.

All other duties as required
Working Hours (fixed upon start):
- 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 8:30am – 5:00pm
- 9:00am – 5:30pm
You will choose your preferred shift pattern upon starting and retain those hours each week. A 45-minute unpaid break applies.
