Description

  • Assist in monitoring and managing client accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of client statements and reminders.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing queries and disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment agreements.
  • Assist in preparing regular reports on outstanding debts and cash flow forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all credit control activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as required.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience or knowledge of credit control or similar financial operations.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and handling account discrepancies.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
