As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing your own ledger and ensuring outstanding debt is collected in a timely and professional manner. Key duties will include:

• Chasing overdue payments by phone and email
• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts
• Reducing aged debt and maintaining healthy cash flow
• Resolving invoice queries quickly and efficiently
• Allocating incoming payments
• Setting up new customer accounts and reviewing credit limits
• Producing aged debt reports for management
• Building strong working relationships internally and externally

• Previous experience within Credit Control or Accounts Receivable
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Confident dealing with customers over the phone and by email
• Able to manage workload and prioritise effectively
• Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Strong IT skills including Excel and finance systems
• Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
