Credit Controller - MK061

Location: West Hull

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Adecco is delighted to be supporting a growing and well‑established organisation based in West Hull in their search for a detail‑focused and proactive Credit Controller. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a background in finance or customer accounts who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, team‑orientated environment.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will play a key role in supporting the company's cash flow while delivering a professional and efficient service.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, confident, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and monitoring outstanding balances
• Chasing overdue payments via phone and email in a professional manner
• Resolving invoice and payment queries efficiently
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
• Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
• Supporting billing and invoicing processes
• Liaising with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate records and updating systems regularly
• Producing reports on aged debt and escalating issues where necessary

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar role (preferred)
• Be confident communicating with customers regarding payments and queries
• Have strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Be comfortable working in a busy, office-based environment
• Have good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Have a proactive approach and the ability to manage your own workload

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Based in West Hull, with free parking available
