Credit Controller

12-Month FTC | Full-time | Hybrid Working

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Working within a large and established business, you will support the Credit Control function to ensure customer accounts are managed effectively and payments are collected within agreed terms.



Duties will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts
  • Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
  • Investigating and resolving invoice queries
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Issuing statements and reminder letters
  • Negotiating payment plans where required
  • Producing reports for management
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties and projects


Experience required:

  • Previous experience within Credit Control, Sales Ledger or Accounts
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office
