The National Recruitment Group Ltd is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected and expanding law firm for an experienced Criminal Solicitor specialising in EPA Prosecutions.

You will be joining an established team handling a varied and interesting caseload of Environmental Protection Act matters from instruction through to settlement or trial, with support, flexibility, and long-term development opportunities available.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of pre and post-prosecution EPA matters, including:
* Reviewing prosecution files and evidence
* Drafting legal documentation and notices
* Managing cases from inception through to conclusion
* Trial preparation, negotiations, and settlements
* Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with Criminal Procedure Rules and relevant legislation
* Using Proclaim Case Management System (CMS) effectively to manage litigation files and workflows
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Solicitor with Criminal Litigation experience
* Experience in Criminal Prosecution or Defence matters
* Ability to bill work at Grade B or above
* Previous experience using Proclaim CMS or similar legal case management software
* Strong organisational and case management skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high-volume environment
* Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
* Advocacy experience advantageous
* IT literate and commercially aware
