Critical Facilities Engineer - Data Centre 

£60,000 Basic + Company Benefits

We’re looking for a hands-on Critical Facilities Engineer to join a growing team responsible for maintaining and improving large-scale critical infrastructure within Data Centre's.

This is a varied role where you’ll be working on plant equipment in commercial environments, carrying out maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and helping improve system performance and reliability.

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems and critical data centre infrastructure, including UPS systems, switchgear, PDUs, generators, and associated electrical distribution equipment
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and completing repairs across critical power and infrastructure systems
  • Responding to breakdowns and ensuring rapid restoration of services to minimise downtime
  • Supporting minor projects, electrical upgrades, and infrastructure improvements within the data centre
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, documentation, and reporting in line with site processes

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working in critical infrastructure - data centres etc.
  • Strong understanding of electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repair on critical plant and power systems
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an mechanical or electrical discipline
