CSCS Labourer

Temple are seeking a reliable and experienced CSCS Labourer to assist our client on a commercial site and other upcoming projects, in Corby, Northamptonshire.

Duration: Up to 2 years work for the right candidate

Duties

• Assisting with general site clearance, loading, and unloading materials
• Supporting tradespeople with specialised tasks such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, masonry, and carpentry
• Handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Preparing sites for construction activities, including setting up scaffolding or temporary structures
• Assisting with fabrication and assembly tasks according to schematics and technical drawings
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to adhere to health and safety standards
• Supporting site logistics by moving materials and equipment as needed
• Assisting with construction painting and other finishing tasks under supervision

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card is essential
• Basic understanding of construction-related skills such as handling hand tools, power tools, or working with schematics is desirable
• Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, fabrication, masonry, or carpentry is a plus
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good organisational skills and attention to safety procedures
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various site requirements
• Physical fitness to perform manual labour throughout the working day
