Teamforce Labour are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipelayer to join a long-term project based in Guisborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual looking for ongoing work on a busy civil engineering and groundwork project.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of drainage and utility pipework, ensuring all work is completed to specification, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installing drainage, sewer, and utility pipework in accordance with site drawings and specifications.
  • Laying pipes to the correct line and level.
  • Assisting with trench excavation, bedding, and backfilling operations.
  • Reading and interpreting site plans and drawings.
  • Working alongside machine operators, groundworkers, and site supervisors.
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure installations meet project requirements.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Pipelayer on civil engineering or groundwork projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and levels.
  • Strong understanding of drainage systems and pipe installation methods.
  • CSCS Card (essential).
  • Confined Space and/or Street Works qualifications beneficial but not essential.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
