Customer Account Manager Full time Permanent

We're looking for a Customer Account Manager to become a key part of a highly successful engineering business, where you'll take ownership of customer projects from quotation through to delivery. Working closely with production, purchasing and technical teams, you'll play a critical role in keeping projects moving, overcoming challenges and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and developing relationships with existing customers
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all sales-related enquiries
  • Managing quotations, lead times and delivery schedules
  • Maintaining customer order books and providing regular updates
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure projects stay on track
  • Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Identifying and resolving issues before they impact customers

What we're looking for:

  • Previous Account Management experience and either in an engineering or manufacturing environment 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
  • Positive, flexible and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong IT skills
