Job Purpose

As a Customer Delivery Assistant, you will support Delivery and Installation Drivers in providing a professional and efficient home delivery service. You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive their products safely, on time, and with exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the delivery, installation and demonstration of products including white goods, televisions and cookers.
  • Provide excellent customer service, keeping customers informed throughout the delivery process.
  • Use handheld devices to accurately complete deliveries and obtain customer signatures.
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delivery updates or issues.
  • Handle products safely and follow all manual handling and health & safety procedures.
  • Secure and manage vehicle loads using appropriate equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer and business needs are met.
  • Maintain professional standards and represent the company positively at all times.
  • Complete any required training and keep knowledge up to date.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Understanding of safe manual handling and health & safety practices.
  • Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work.
