We’re working with a Newark based company to recruit a Customer Service & Admin Assistant to join their friendly and fast-paced team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy office environment, and wants to be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team.

This role is very much about the person – attitude, energy, and communication skills are the priority. The rest can be taught.

The Role

You’ll be a key part of the office team, supporting customers and internal departments to ensure everything runs smoothly day to day.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls and emails
  • Processing customer orders accurately
  • Managing delivery queries and updates
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal teams
  • Inputting and processing invoices and purchase orders
  • Supporting general administration tasks
  • Helping to deliver excellent customer service at all times

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Positive, friendly, and easy to get along with
  • A confident communicator (phone and email)
  • Calm and organised when working in a busy environment
  • A real team player who likes being part of a close-knit team
  • Willing to learn and take on new tasks
  • Reliable, proactive, and happy to get stuck in

Previous experience in customer service or admin is helpful, but personality and attitude are what really matter here.

Working Hours
