Customer Service Advisor

Our public sector client are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Customer Service Advisor to join them on a temporary basis.

The role involves handling enquiries through the Council’s contact centre, providing information and guidance, and processing customer requests on behalf of the Council and its partners.

Working Hours

32.5 hours per week

Monday – Friday
9:00am – 4:00pm
(30-minute lunch break)

Office based 

Key Requirements

  • Recent customer service experience, preferably in a telephone or contact centre environment
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to deal with customers professionally, tactfully, and empathetically
  • Strong customer care and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Good IT and keyboard skills
  • Accurate and consistent approach to work
