Customer Service Specialist Pay, Hours and Benefits
- £27,800 – with an OTE of £33,000
- 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

Role Overview
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will guide customers through every stage of their journey, from their first enquiry right through to final installation, ensuring they receive the most suitable solutions for their individual requirements.
This is not a cold-calling sales position. Instead, the role focuses on handling incoming enquiries alongside proactive follow-up communication, offering clear advice, support, and reassurance throughout the process.
You will collaborate closely with customers, assessors, and internal teams to deliver a seamless, positive experience from initial contact through to completion.
Customer Service Specialist Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or customer-facing role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional, friendly, and confident telephone manner
- High attention to detail with strong organisational abilities
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient in a busy environment
- Empathetic, patient, and positive approach to supporting all types of customers
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable using IT systems and admin tools
Customer Service Specialist Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer enquiries across phone, email, live chat, website, and marketing channels in a professional and timely manner
- Providing tailored advice on products and services based on individual customer needs
- Supporting customers through their decision-making journey with clear, empathetic guidance and reassurance
- Coordinating and booking customer assessments, appointments, and installation schedules
- Delivering basic technical support and resolving customer queries and service issues efficiently
- Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring all system updates are completed correctly
- Building strong relationships with customers and supporting wider commercial team activities where required
