Peopleforce Recruitment for a Customer Contact Specialist in Abingdon for one of our long-standing healthcare partners. This company provides workplace health services by supporting employers monitor employee health, identify risks, and keep workplaces safe using testing and health data.
You’ll work as a Customer Service Specialist in the Occupational Health team in Abingdon.
Your main job is to:
- Help customers book health services
- Answer questions (by phone and email)
- Make sure everything runs smoothly and on time
You’re basically the first point of contact for customers and play a big role in their overall experience.
What you’ll do
- Answer customer queries clearly and professionally
- Book appointments/services and guide customers through the process
- Organise clinic schedules and make sure appointments are set up correctly
- Work with external providers to deliver services on time
- Coordinate with internal teams (like clinical and lab teams)
- Follow processes and hit targets (KPIs/SLAs)
- Do admin tasks to support operations
What they’re looking for
- Good communication skills (written and spoken)
- Some customer service experience (preferred, not essential)
- Comfortable using IT (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Salesforce experience is a bonus
- Good at problem-solving and managing workload
- Customer-focused and organised
