Peopleforce Recruitment for a Customer Contact Specialist in Abingdon for one of our long-standing healthcare partners. This company provides workplace health services by supporting employers monitor employee health, identify risks, and keep workplaces safe using testing and health data.

You’ll work as a Customer Service Specialist in the Occupational Health team in Abingdon.

Your main job is to:

  • Help customers book health services
  • Answer questions (by phone and email)
  • Make sure everything runs smoothly and on time

You’re basically the first point of contact for customers and play a big role in their overall experience.

What you’ll do

  • Answer customer queries clearly and professionally
  • Book appointments/services and guide customers through the process
  • Organise clinic schedules and make sure appointments are set up correctly
  • Work with external providers to deliver services on time
  • Coordinate with internal teams (like clinical and lab teams)
  • Follow processes and hit targets (KPIs/SLAs)
  • Do admin tasks to support operations

What they’re looking for

  • Good communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Some customer service experience (preferred, not essential)
  • Comfortable using IT (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Salesforce experience is a bonus
  • Good at problem-solving and managing workload
  • Customer-focused and organised
