The Role
We are looking for 2 experienced Demolition Labourers with a valid CCDO card to work on a project in Greenwich. Start date is 5th May 2025 for 2 weeks.
Working as part of a demolition team under the direction of a site supervisor, you will carry out demolition and strip-out works safely and efficiently in accordance with the project method statement and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out manual demolition and strip-out works
- Operating demolition tools and equipment safely
- Segregating and removing waste in line with site requirements
- Adhering to method statements, risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all instructions from the site supervisor
Requirements
- Valid CCDO Operative Card (essential – will not be considered without)
- Previous experience in demolition or strip-out works
- Asbestos awareness certificate (desirable)
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and a strong work ethic
- Able to provide references on request
