The Role:
Work alongside the Headteacher to help lead the strategic and operational direction of the school. You will support staff development, drive high-quality teaching and learning, contribute to school improvement planning, and help create the conditions in which pupils and staff can perform at their best.
 
The Candidate:
You are an experienced senior leader with the credibility, judgement, and drive to make a real impact. You combine strong leadership skills with a clear understanding of teaching and learning, communicate well with staff and stakeholders, and know how to support others while maintaining high expectations across the school.
 
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience – Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
  • Teaching and Learning – A strong understanding of effective classroom practice, staff development, and school improvement.
  • Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication with staff, governors, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Career Commitment – A strong commitment to leadership, pupil outcomes, and the continued success of the school.
